I am a professional freelance makeup artist based in Huddersfield in West Yorkshire. I am privileged to have trained with one of the best in the business - celebrity makeup artist Carrie Jones at Unpretty Makeup school in Liverpool, where I had the opportunity to work alongside Carrie and The Magazine Club in London for an opening event for the celebrity Gok Wan.
I went on to do an intermediate course to further my training at KLMA academy in Bury.
I've worked on a huge number of clients wanting a wide array of styles for various occasions from weddings to nightclubs, to photo shoots.
I specialise in bridal, occasion, and prom makeup, whether it be in the comfort of your own home or your chosen venue for that special day. I will travel to meet your needs.
I offer a wide range of makeup looks and pride myself on making every client look and feel amazing, whatever the occasion might be. I have worked at a variety of different hotels doing weddings which include: Chevin Country Park Hotel Otley, Waterton Park Hotel Wakefield, Black Horse Clifton, Casa Brighouse and a styled bridal photo shoot at East Riddlesden Hall.
I use all the high-end premium makeup brands which include Mac, Urban Decay, Nars, Armani, Charlotte Tilbury, Anastasia Beverly Hills and many more.
Having an amazing opportunity presented I now have a base at Arkitec in Clayton Bradford, where you can book an appointment in the studio. Alternatively I can cater for clients across West Yorkshire.

Sarah did my make-up for my sister's wedding at the end of September (2017). We had previously had a trial with Sarah and I was honestly blown away at the end result. My brief to Sarah was ‘I want to look like a better version for myself’, keeping my make-up simple, so I looked like myself. Sarah exceeded this brief, and I looked and felt amazing - trying some new bits (eye liner) that I hadn’t used before. On the day of the wedding, Sarah was a complete professional, bringing real calm to the morning preparation for myself and most importantly the bride (my Sister)! On the day I looked and felt utterly beautiful, and received so many compliments, with the make up lasting all day and night, only topping up my lipstick! Nick has gained almost 20 years’ experience and knowledge with successfully coaching numerous people in reaching their fitness goals, a background in amateur boxing, competing at club and championship level. He currently competes in powerlifting and has a passion for all things strength, health and performance that spans nearly 30 years. And with a commitment to continual development as a coach and trainer, with influences such as; Mark Rippetoe, Jim Wendler, Mark Bell, Paul Check, Gary Taubes and Geoff Thompson, Nick strives to better not only himself, but all those he helps.
Chris has spent the past 9 years in the health and fitness industry developing his Personal Training background, whilst working as a Specialist Biomechanics Coach, and gaining a Masters Degree in Osteopathy.
Chris has a fresh approach to therapy and combines all his skills and knowledge to best suit the client/patient in front of him. His enthusiasm to learn and help others improve their movement capacity means he loves a challenge as it only helps improve his learning curve and ability to help others later down the line.
Therefore, combining his therapy and fitness coaching backgrounds provides a solid knowledge base to be able to integrate and provide the best outcome for his client/patient.
As a competitive triathlete himself, his primary client base includes: cyclists, runners, and triathletes. Having worked with numerous GB level athletes, Chris understands the stresses that are involved in top level sport, and helps develop strategies to aid performance.
Chris has presented at numerous high profile conferences and trade shows, on subjects including: flexibility, biomechanics, and modern pain science.
Chris is also a tutor for Biomechanics Education, Body Type Nutrition, and Movement Therapy Clinics. He has a passion for educating others to aid their understanding of human movement, performance, injuries, and pain.
